one little word wednesday

My word this year is

choose.

I am happy with this word. It stretches me, challenges me, guides me, supports me. Or perhaps a better way to put it is this: the word choose helps me be intentional. I did a project from Ali's One Little Word class to help me explore my word a little more. This is the simple poem I was able to craft from random words and phrases I cut from magazines. The large "CHOOSE TO" down the middle became the opening phrase to accompany each of the words and phrases I chose. Here is how I read it

choose to say no
choose to indulge in coffee, good reads
choose to tell it like it is
choose to feel beauty inside & outside
choose to make time for what matters most

choose to is finding meaningful moments in the course of your busy life.
